Katy Rose Bennett is an artist, performer, songwriter, composer, community musician and activist with 20 years’ experience and 7 critically-acclaimed albums. As a gay, disabled woman, she actively advocates for a more inclusive, accessible and safe music scene. She is trustee for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion on the board of English Folk Expo, and a director of In Her Shoes Birmingham CIC which promotes female empowerment through music-making and songwriting. Recently described by Americana UK as “Sandy Denny meet Linda Thompson”
